I went ahead and activated the Larger Dials mod - I don't see any difference, so I'll try a different route - perhaps a different mod. *shrugs*

As to an update on my review:

****
Exam 5: Convoy

Well, I've discovered that a certain battleship now has my name on his side. Took me out at 31 meters with 3 depth charges. Certainly the fastest I've died in game. I'm still learning all the keyboard commands and boy even though I got 4 torpedoes off and sunk 1 ship, I paid for it.

I hit 1 ship from 1200 meters, was going ahead slow, changed course and he still found me very quickly.

Got a ton of work to do here to even be ready for a campaign with this game. Wow!!

Thanks again for the welcomes and yeah, I'm addicted.

WELCOME ABOARD!

Funny you should mention the sea floor with GWX - I've never seen it! I've been using Commander to darken the water for so long that it never occured to me to look and see if they might have changed something there.

Nice descriptions of your experiences. Good luck with future careers.
