Default German SAR "cruisers"

"Cruiser" because in German we call them Seenot-Rettungskreuzer (= distress rescue cruiser)

just for the movie and pictures:

I love these ships, since my childhood I am fascinated by them, their looks, speed and capability. I don't know the modern types of them, but the older ones are said to be unsinkable and able to capsize 360°, I don't know the english word for it, I mean "durchkentern": the ships capsizes, and rolls under water, and just pops up again on the other side. While this may irritate the crew , the ship was said to remain technically operational when doing so. - Also, the dhingy and the ramp for it I found to be extremely cool as a teenager. I never had a faible for motor yachts, if I ever would have done a sail tour around the world, I would have chosen a sailboat - or to buy an old unit of these SAR cruisers and do the trip in it. Give one of these units to me, and a Seahawk in colours of the US coast guard - as I said in the flightsiom forum, that colour scheme I also find extremely sexy! http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=142930
