Just got done reading a Civil War book about the Battle of Pea Ridge (Arkansas). Relatively small battle, but close to home so thought it would be nice to read up on. Don't normally read about the civil war but it was pretty enjoyable to check out some local history.

Before that I read the Hornblower series and had finished the Maritius Command in the Aubrey/Maturin series. Found a neat book on Amazon called 'The Six Frigates' that I just started. Basically talks about the founding of the US Navy, quite enjoyable so far! Will be picking back up on the Aubrey series when I put this book up on the shelf.
