Hey all, Im a lurker here but this is something I've never seen or heard of before in either SH3 or 4. Im in the Sargo entering the Java sea through the Lombok strait when we spot a single merchant. I do the usual, plot its course and speed and set my self up for the shot. I fire two torps, one is a dud, the other hits the port side just forward of the port propeller, bringing it to a stop. It looks like it should sink without further damage from me, so I kick in high TC and wait for a few seconds. I bring it back to 1x to check how far along it is and I notice something strange is happening...
![]() ![]() It is replicating itself ![]() ![]() ![]() It is now two completely independent ships with the exact same damage ![]() Map screen confirms ![]() But will they both sink? And will I get credit for both? ![]() ![]() ![]() Yes, and yes ![]() Like I said I've never heard of this before, maybe its an old bug but it blew my mind. ![]() |
