Open Source "Red Storm Rising" ?

Hi,

I do not know, if other people think the same way, but I still enjoy Red Storm Rising more than Dangerous Waters (regarding playing subs), because:

- random mission generator and even a big campaign with great atmosphere !
- enemy AI is still better: destroyers and other ships know the formation drills and aggressively hunt you

Of course this sim has also its shortcoming, mostly regarding the modeling of sonars and some weapons

A sim which would address these problems and also enhance it by providing to play more subs (eg. diesel) would be my all time-favorite

What do you think? Would you like such a sim?
