TBW, try this fix. It doesn't work for everyone, but judging by your screens it should work for your machine.
A small note regarding the sun size: It's not a bug, I made it smaller on purpose. You might find it hard to believe but the sun and moon in OLCE2, although smaller than those in GWX, are actually still slightly bigger than the sun and moon in real life! I'll not bore people with the math... here's a picture instead:
