Hi Guys
I need all the information possible about GNBNA I picked up a copy, on a car boot sale, a few years ago, but have never been able to run it. ![]() It's in it's original box, but the contents are very sparse. There's a single CD, having a black label, with the logo: KIXX on it, and marked as being GNBNA, and also a User's Manual with some very vague and (in places) slightly contradictory loading instructions. And that's about it really. My main questions are: What PC 'language' is this old CD written in ? Is it DOS (or some other) ? (I can view the file names, contained on the CD, but can't RUN them) Is it possible to run this CD on a modern PC, and if so, what do you need to do, to enable it to Run ? Or do you have to actually physically BUILD a 'Retro PC' out of all the obsolete and scrap pc parts you can find in the junk piles and rubbish tips of the World ! ![]() I have for instance, seen 386 CPU's mentioned ![]() Is it really neccessary to get these, or is it possible to 'fool' the CD , with your 'swanky' new system, that it's actually running on an old 'steam-powered' rig ? Please keep your answers, moronically simple, Guys, and I'll try to raise my pc knowledge to those dizzy heights ! ![]() Cheers Hood ![]() |
