Default Hopeful news to ex-smokers everywhere

Just thought I would share an experience I had.

For a while I thought, "oh I miss having a puff" and "Oh I'd really love to smoke a Don Tomas about now" and "I only used to smoke on a weekend, where is the harm?"

In short, how am I going to cope?

LAst week, I was in town and there was a few things I experienced that really really convinced me to keep mine lungs pure.

1) There was this woman, she was middle aged, but she looked absolutely minging and it was clear that years of smoking had took their toll on her. Her skin and hair looked ****.

2) I actually got near enough to said woman to catch a waft of smoke into my general area and my immediate reaction was... "ewww" Seriously!

She was smoking a menthol cigarette and I actually was quite partial to menthol cigarettes so for me to recoil and go "ewww" I cannot help but think I have turned a corner.

And questions like the above no longer fill my mind.
