Default My first fully manual sink!!! wait a second...

Like the title says, I just sunk my first ship without any help from the WO! I used OLC GUI and GWX2.0 and it was at night to boot!
I get a report that there's a merchant ship heading towards me at long range so I get into a nice ambush position 90 degrees off it's starboard side. Once it comes into visual range I dive down to periscope depth and start inputting all the needed info with the help of OLC's gui tools. I waited until it was 5 degrees off of my bow then let loose two eels and not a second after I press fire, I go; "**** I forgot to identify it's flag..." So I take a quick peek with the camera and low and beholed it's... German! D'oh!
So now I'm watching and praying that my data was off somehow, it was my first manual attack how well could I do right? right...? It turns out I was perfect, first torp hit dead center then the secon hit the bow. Down it goes in a firery explosion as I sit there crying and wondering how I'm going to explain this to my superiors... BERNARD!!! Hmmm maybe I've been playing too much SH4 and confused my allies and enemies a bit. Doupt they'll believe that...
This is a testamate to the tools included in OLC's gui mod, even a complete noob like me can hit... my ally.
