quest about tm mod

hi guys
forgive me i dont know how to explain but when leaving a port or during patrol need to
"run" and pressing enter till the counter stops to 8192(i dont know how to tell you...) and a ship appear, the watchman reports for the ship(but i havent sonar report) but till to press "-" the ship its gone.
playing stock or rsrdc on stock the game goes to 1 and watchman & sonar report for the ship.
