1st--the reason behind this request: After a week of long hours training (ie testing mods) the Porpoise put to sea for a real war patrol. 1 ship was sunk in 4 weeks. Now, down to our last 4 torpedos (all forward) a Large tanker hove into view with a Minekaze escorting. The approach was flawless!!! Everything checked out perfect! There was no way these shots could miss
![]() Well--after all 4 torps had run under the target without exploding, the Porpoise cleverly side-stepped the escort, went to 200 feet and set a silent-running course for Perth. LCom Charlie Chum was not in a mood to be trifled with ![]() The yeoman stepped up to the 7MC and piped the watch change. The next thing the pensive Porpoise crew hears is, PING ![]() So: The next time I'm silent running and the yeoman decides to play his pipes, I want to have 2 options: 1. I can fire him out of a torpedo tube or 2. The only time we hear his pipes is when he passes gas. Alas, I fear this mod is beyond my limited understanding of the game mechanics. I can only hope that there is a modder here who hears my boon and answers my plea. ![]()
