Radar in 1.3

Hi all,

I've been a forum watcher since pre-SHIII. A wealth of knowledge exists here that is entertaining enough to read 24 hours a day. Any enough about that, as my first post I must say I'm an idiot when it comes to Radar.

I just put SJ into my Salmon class sub THE "Salmon" might I add, and first of all my SD radar no longer picks up incoming radar. As I understood it would function regardless of any player settings. Is this understanding correct? Because it doesn't seem to work that way.

Additionally I'm an utter idiot when it comes to using the SJ.

Also as post #1 let me introduce myself.

I've been a longtime fan of subsims, ever since my dad brought home Silent Service for the Apple IIGS . Eventually we made the move into DOS based systems and I was allowed to fiddle to SH1.

SH2 came out at the end of my high schooling and I played it until the wee dawn hours in college . I eagerly awaited SH3 and SH4 as soon as I found out about them.

Keep up the modding if that's your thing, GWX came on late in my SH3 playtimes, but I enjoyed it thoroughly. Additionally Vanilla SH4 1.3 is well enough at the moment for me.

Thanks all

Naf
