I have done some testing in fog, thanks to Mush Martins missions, and have found no problem with the fog:
  @ MM, the testfog1lt version shows as no fog, clear skies, maybe a little hazy, the navigators report shows light fog no rain:  At this stage I think that there is a problem with Hadrys' video card, I have sent a PM. Could you post a sreenshot of the fog texture problem Hadrys? Thanks all.
