I gotta agree with ya on this one. I won't play SH if I feel like I'm in the mood for fast paced stuff, it just doesn't fit.

While I don't do entire patrols in real time, I rarely go over 512 TC, and there have been plenty of evenings when I don't touch time compression at all, and just sit back and relax. It can be very soothing to just listen to the engines drone, and the waves lapping against the hull after a hard day at work.

It really makes it much more exciting as well, when I do get the occasional sighting(especially aircraft spotted!)
"snooze.....snore....AIRCRAFT SPOTTED! huh?! what!? GAH! Dive! dive dammit! dive!!!"
I usually spill my coffee on those. :p
