2 emblems option??

If I remember correctly, it was possible with SH3 (Vanilla) + 1.4b to have 2 emblems, the sub emblem and the flotilla emblem at the same time.
Maybe I am mistaken, but if this is correct, how can I reenable that option?
I ask this because I am thinking that I would like to create some "emblem" showing how many patrols I had so far, or something like that. I would use the 2nd emblem option to display this one instead the flotilla emblem. Is this possible?
Any info or help about this topic will be most welcome.
