can't seem to refit/end partol

there's been no base change yet and there's one incomplete from after a previous refit(?). i had reported contact of a small convoy, tho it wasn't listed as that, and proceeded against it. sank 3 destroyers and 6 transports of various sizes with torpedos and the deck gun. the convoy consisted of 3 destroyers and 6 transports of various sizes. so, after all that, and putting my last 15 AP shells into a large liner, i set a course to RTB which is what i was advised to do when reporting the convoy. now that i'm back i can't rearm or end the patrol. looked at a coupla save in notepad and there's nothing about a base change and it should stuill be manila/cavite. put along side a pier at cavite and still nothing, even after reloading the save. gonna see what happens now when i go back in after leaving and saving. any ideas? thx


edit: tried a save before sinking the convoy but still in contact with it, had having sunk 2 DDs, i RTB and was able to end the patrol and dock. now i don't get the whole d@mm convoy
