Default Damage control, esp. hull integrity

Hello,
4th patrol in the middle of a huge atlantic storm and at night and I was a bobbing cork in the middle of a large convoy. Someone spotted me and star shells and search lights were all around me. I was recieving fire and we took some damage to the radio/sonar compartment. We crash dived.
There was no equipment damage, but I put peeps in the damage control area just to be sure and we escaped, but not after I put 2 large tankers on the bottom.
I got back to base and hull integrity was 98.50%.
1. I am wondering if there is a way to see you hull intergrity while at sea?
2. Does the ship yard automatically fix everything, so that the next patrol, you'll be back in tip-top shape? and your hull integrity will be back to 100%?
I know if there is compartment damage, there will not be the "no damage" text next to the compartmant name in the damage control box, and to fix this you left-click on the compartment to select it as priority, but is there anyway to see all your status including hull integrity at sea?
thanks, sorry for the redundancy

3. Also, is there a way to see how much flooding youre having?
