Missing tonnage?

Just got up and running with GWX 1.03 and SH3 Commander. Started a new career and headed out to sea in my VIIC.

While on patrol, I sank only 1 british merchant before heading back to port completing the mission.

At the end of the mission, it said I sank 1 allied merchant totaling ~9,000 tons.

Then the game brings me to head quarters and low and behold the tonnage and 1 merchant are missing from my patrol logs?? So, I exit the game, open up SH3 Commander and create a commander profile, it creates, says I went on one patrol, but didn't sink anything!?!?

Can anyone explain why this happened? This happen to anyone else?
