Crazy orders?

Ok, so I'm starting in Wilhelmshaven I believe it is and its 1939. I have a IIA class sub. My first patrol, no problem. Sink a C2 for 6,500 tons, make it back with no issues.

Second patrol, they send me all the way to AF83 or something, west of Bergen basically. It's so far that by the time I get there and patrol for 24 hours, no way I can make it back. Plus, since Norway is still neutral, I only see neutral ships. Ok...so my tonnage is 0. Plus I have to dock at Bergen.

Third patrol, somehow I'm back in Wilhelmshaven and this time they want me to go to sector AN21 which is WAY NE of England. Basically around 1200nm. Well thats practically the range of my little IIA. What the heck? I don't even know if I'd have enough fuel to make it to Bergen from there and its the closest friendly port. What gives? Anyone?

Also, something I thought was odd. I immediately docked without even turning the engines on. What happens? I received two personal medals. Guess my 3rd patrol with 0 tonnage was so impressive they awarded me two commendations. Those germans are something...:hmm:
