First patrol

Ok jumped in to my first patrol way too early. My mission was recon at a jap base.

Tried the TC out and got 75% to my target area, didnt notice anything at all. Then all of a sudden had injuries, deaths and lost the sub. Was charged with treason

and had tio wait till Japan surrendered before I would know my fate

Never saw anything en-route, think it was me being TC happy? Could I have hit some mines? My taget area was Tokyo but I was well out when I sank and travelling at only periscope depth.
