Dud Mines?
Just hit a mine in the English Channel...and nothing happened. Heavy seas, wind 15 m/s, and the mine is bobbing up and down near the bottom of the channel. Occasionally it goes under the mud and pops back up. Anyhoo, sailed right over it and it bobbed up and down bouncing off the bottom of my Type IIA until I was past it. Was a little scary.
