Default Flak Guns and Conning tower blown by DC. Crew dies when surfacing.

Hi Everybody. It's my first post and to begin with I'd like to thank all of you modders who have endeavored to make SH3 a better game.

I am running SH3 1.4 with the GWX mod. I am having a problem but I don't know if it is mod related of if it was the same in stock SH3.

On two ocassions I had the flak guns of a IXC sub blown to pieces by depth charges. The flak gun compartiment was destroyed and the conning tower was left in "serious" damage with both periscopes, antennas and uzo destroyed. Every subsystem in the conning tower was destroyed. I managed to put the sub together and survived the attack. When I surfaced my crewmen started to die. Half of the crew was killed or wounded.

I think this happened because the AI was trying to set the crew watch on the conning tower which was destroyed. When I manually added an officer he died as well.

Is this normal? Is there any workaround this issue, such as disabling the AI automatically sending crew members to the conning towers?

Thanks in advance!

PD: I've also read in your posts that you know the particular names of the ships you sink. How can I do this? Is it a part of GWX?
