About renow

I have a little problem: i started a new career at the beginning of war so i'm on a TypeIIA ... now im currently in April 1940 and i still have that IIA! So i ask for a transfer and i moved to 2nd Flottlilla where i could get the IXB but it needs 7500 renow. I have only 4200 renow so my question is: where can I modify renow to reach 7500 and get the IXB ?? I saw many files in the SH3 folder that contain the value of renow but i dont know wich one have to be modified....can somebody help?
