Well I wouldn't put it as harshly. Normally removing the mod (in case you used JSGME) should suffice to get normal dials again.

But the problem if you try to use more than one mod altering the menu_1024.ini or dials.cfg file, and simply copy one over the other, it won't work. You have to manually alter those files in order to get the desired effect. And that's normally a lot more difficult than it looks. Especially if you don't know what to change. Even just removing the three dials from the files may get you into trouble.

For anyone to help you, you should post all mods you have installed. Maybe there's a simple fix.
