Here's a free DL of STAR CALC which can be set for any date and time between 1939-1945 http://www.relex.ru/~zalex/main.htm It can be used as an emergency Nautical Almanac...just plug in your known or assumed Lat/Long and it will give you the altitudes and azimuths of all celestial bodies.
