Default First GWX patrol in the books and a question

U-36 of the 2nd flotilla just returned from her first patrol, a trip to BE31 and back. Put 34000 tons of enemy merchant shipping on the ocean floor. (Including 2 'pyros' how cool). Returned with 0 eels and very very little fuel. Also a hull of only 26% remains!

Got harrassed by the Hurricane fighter bombers the entire trip which is not an issue.

I run SH3 at 64xTC when I get out to sea (enemy vicinity). Sometimes the enemy aircraft are actually getting rounds off at me before it will kick back to 1xTC. The first attack it did not kick back to 1x until the bomb struck me in the rear of the boat taking the starboard prop with it! LOL That led to very long patrol.

Anything I can do to get the sim to reduce TC quicker? I had my best men I have on the watch and they were not fatigued. Weather was clear in broad daylight.

I am not saying this is a GWX issue by any means, so far I love GWX. But that being said I cannot see myself living long if I am getting hit by aircraft bombs before I even have a chance to do anything evasive.

Thanks in advance for any help, BTW I run SH3 Commander and the TC settings are set to 1x when aircraft or enemy ships spotted. I just qualified another one for watch duty and may use 2 on the deck at the same time to see if this helps.

Chuck
