An article in a German newspaper pointed me at this 104 years old text by Kurt Tucholsky, written in 1920. I almost cant believe how actual it seems to be. It seems as if it was written with our present modern drama in mind. Spooky.
I give first the German link, and then a link to the bot-translation by Google. https://www.textlog.de/tucholsky/glo...ays/daemmerung https://www-textlog-de.translate.goo..._x_tr_pto=wapp And as a type this, I recall another great text. Stefan Zweig's excellent book The World of Yesterday. Das kann doch alles nicht wahr sein was um uns herum geschieht! I am in a strange mood. It all seems so - so very clear, and yet as if hidden in the mist. Surreal.
