Good Evening everyone,
I was curious, what sound setup do you guys use when playing SHIII? ie: do you use headphones with your setup, or do you simply access sound straight through your speakers? The main reason I ask this is, earlier it seems my veteran headphones lost the left speaker, which is not ideal if you have a sound contact to your left, plus I often manually operate the hydrophones during patrols. This is not a huge issue as I do have a pretty decent pair of Logitech speakers and a Soundblaster sound card. I am in the process of ordering a new pair of SONY MDR-ZX110NA headphones from Amazon as we speak, or in the next week or so. Nothing comes close to actually wearing a pair of good BULKY headphones whilst sat at the hydrophone station, you can even tweak the volume to match the ambient conditions if needed. Best Regards, Paul.
