Default Conn; Sonar; Sierra ONE is classified as: New User

Hello, Skippers!
I'm the new new guy. Feel free to bully me for my preference for Nuclear-Age Subs and Cold Waters. Filthy Kraut, born and raised, i live in Submarine Country- in Day Trip proximity to the Port of Kiel. I've also got a SCUBA License- please don't blast Active in the Baltic Sea, for my sake.

I've been in about three or four subs, although my tender age at the time kept me from appreciating the sheer nuts that went into the idea of cramming a bunch of smelly men into a tin can to shoot the forbidden sausages at shipping.

Recently i've been nerding out about Passive Sonar and Underwater Acoustics (Even though i do not understand half of it), and the various neat tricks modern subs use.

Ping once, measure twice.

Conn; Sonar; Contact Sierra ONE lost; last bearing 000, contact faded.
