Thanks for the recommendation.
I installed it yesterday and its doing well in Win10(64 bit).
I still need to find a module that can convert DVD movies I burned with a Magnavox VHS/DVD recorder/player.

The VHS/DVD unit still works but I'm guessing it won't be for much longer and I'd like to try converting some DVD flicks like "Roadside Prophets" (imagine Easy Rider meets Black Flag and The Beastie Boys with some very unique cameos like Timothy Leary as an old farmer in a pickup truck).

The problem with most of the old VHS/DVD recorders is how they encoded the DVDs they burn.



BTW for the OP- grab a freeware install of CCleaner. Its a very handy program for cleaning out junk files and old or damaged registry entries. You don't need to run it every day or even every month but it does a great job.
