GMX GOLD and sh4 effects?

After a computer crash i hato reinstall windows and lost sh3 so reinstalled everything.. with gmx gold but i cant for the life of me get the sh4 effects to work.. are the compatible with gmxgold? regardless what i do the torpedo impacts are always just white in colour no explosions..



the mods i have running are



manosenvriomentprov5
moon_light_mod
and i have the rbs1_sh4_effects_gmx_30_71 version..


any help would be great..
