Aiming question

Hi all,

In SH4, is it possible to aim a ship special point using the scope vertical line? Like in SH3/SH5 without the L key on?

So far i was always using traditional method, locking target/enter data/PK on...and using some spread angle to hit different places on target. Almost 100% results as far as correct datas entered.

But it seems to me impossible to hit targets without the PK on and without the target locked

Maybe American TDC just can’t, as the German one can?
