Cool. And revealing. Illustrates also why I am a methodology Nazi when it comes to science studies and papers, and why I call the academic everyday business deeply corrupted.

This speaks not against the scientific methdology. It only shows that it can be abused if somebody wants to abuse it. Reasons for it there are aplenty. Abuse and corruption are abuse and corurption, they do not illustrate that scientific methodology is bad. Its the best tool that the Western civilization has, and what has made it greater and more influential than any other there ever has been.

Disagree? Think of it next time you are at the dentist and he offers you an injection.
