Help stalking enemy subs....

Hi all. I'm having issue re-aquiring submeged sonar contacts.

After the inital contact notification, I usually close to the minimum range, go to ultra quiet, stay on the same course for 2 or 3 mins (real time) then turn 90 degrees, stay on that course for a while and repeat. I do this above and below the layer (if there is one).

After about 20 mins (real time) I get bored and bail, much to the disgust of the Admiral.

I know that some of the Russian diesel boats are very quiet but......

Any advice would be gratefully appreciated
