Submarine icon slow to travel on theater map

Hi all,

I'm new here and I have been recently playing Cold Wars due to video's of Jive Turkey and Captain Jingle McJingleberry.

Recently, I have played the 1984 campaign and I have noticed something whenever I load a saved game. I have noticed that my submarine does not move as quickly as it did before the save. I could be traveling and try to catch an enemy patrol or objective but never catch up to it as I did before. I was wondering if anyone has seen this before and if so, how did one fix it.
