New captain joining

Hi everyone,

As is recommended, I just wanted to say hello to everybody and quickly introduce myself. I'm from France and have little to no experience with sub-sims in general - I played Silent Hunter back in the day when I was still a kid, and I joined here because I discovered Cold Waters and I'm enjoying it immensely so far. Aside from that I also read most books from Tom Clancy and Clive Cussler, for what it's worth. I like submarines in general but never got to playing what I felt were, up until that point, very sim-oriented games. A little "dry" for my taste, I don't mind a little truth-bending for the sake of a more enjoyable gameplay.

It seems to be a very active and knowledgeable community here, which is exactly what I need to improve in CW. Hopefully I'll learn a lot!
