Default Greetings from the deep

Hello shipmates and my fellow Shellbacks!

I finally got off my butt after many many years of coming here for valuable advice, and registered / donated. Well worth it, thanks for the years of work and information.

My sub gaming started back when I was in the Navy (89-94). I had a chief who was really into RSR, and I got into it. I've played the Silent Hunter series, Silent service 1/2, Fast Attack, Seawolf, fleet command, aces of the deep etc. Harpoon, Atlantic Fleet, etc.

My last real run through with a subsim was Silent Hunter 4, heavily modded. Been a few years, and SH5 was a crashing monster for me if I recall.

Looking forward to Cold Waters, as I'm sure you all are. Until then, going to fire up SH5, and try to get it running with the Steel Wolves mod.

Anyway, time to fire up the coffee pot and try to figure out how to mod SH5, and relearn manual targeting etc.
