Linton before you get anoraky about maps ask yourself - will they conform to what is actualy represented in the game.
One of the most important considerations for submarriners is the topography. Distribution of underwater features such as seamounts, ridges, depressions etc. Regretably, but understandably, given the scale of such an undertaking, and its impact on the performance of the 'normal ' home PC, these features are either not present or simplified. A little 'Search ' - amongst others see: http://www.subsim.com/phpBB/viewtopi...light=contours Note MaHuJa and Amizaurs posts particularly about constructing ones own topographical charts relevant to what is in the game !
