Hi guys, I'm the new forum noob over here.

But I've played over the years some subsims. It started with first subsim: a silent... and something and it wasn't silent Hunter. Here I found the name Silent Service. Yes this could be the name I thought. Only I don't remember if I've played Silent Service 1 or Silent Service 2.

After I signed in here I've downloaded some patches for Silent Hunter 4. Now having Win 10, I had to try if SH4 worked. And it's doing that without any problems. I remember SH4 was the best SH of them all. I've played SH2 and SH3 before, but it was a long time ago.
With SH5 to many players were screaming about a lot of bugs, so I never bought it.

So I'm probably not the youngest captain here. I'm gaming over 30 years now. OK, I'm going to look for some adventure in SH4. Good hunting to all of you

Ow and yesterday I found something else. I don't know if you know. But apparently we can play Silent Service 1 and Silent Service 2 again with Win XP, vista, 7,8, 10. at https://www.gog.com/game/silent_service_12
