I've decided to hit the seas again and am planning on doing a fresh install of SH4 on a Win8.1 box, then RFB with RSRDC_RFB. Wanted to run the install order by you guys so there are no screw ups: Install SH4 (DVD) then, 1.4 patch U-boat addon (that takes me to 1.5, yes?) RFB mod RSRDC_RFB
