It's nearly a perfect angle. I'm directly abeam of her. My distance is about 600 meters, and it only takes 300 for the eels to arm.

A better solution would be to keep playing at 100% realism and turn 'god's eye mode' on. Go to the TDC view and track the path of the eels to the target.
