HELP...GWX English labels

That was it.

Apparently one of the mods changed the en_menu.txt file. I used the link you provided to go thru and type in the English words. The file had been only partially modified since there were many English words & labels left as is.
The file I remember was a copy of the unmodified en_menu.txt that you could download & copy into place if your original got gaked.
