Hi my ole man (dad). Introduced me to Sillent Hunter 5 sometime ago. He built the rig I play on , I like X box etc but he wanted FSX microsoft so back in 2008 he built .Asus P5Q Deluxe motherboard, intel Duo 8500, Corsair 4GB memory, Sapphire 4800 series and Tagan 900W PSU and Samsung sata spinpoint 7200rpm 1 Tb. (much cheaper to build a pc then buy and a lot more fun and satisftying ). Runnig Vista 64 bit. I know no one likes vista but it's ok for gaming I think. Got Steam with TrainSim which is always updated evey year for free. think SH5 was a labour of love for him (dad). He thinks he is a reincarnate of a U boat captain or something. He get obsessed with a U boat 'U187'. So I delve in to SH now and again and love this site. Love the You tube tutorials by Stoniam (want to take him home He sounds like a meerkat (say that with respect) Thanks. ps Dads in his 50s and I'm late 30s.. Both live on East Coast U.K Happy hunting
