Captains Log

Hi All, Bit of trouble getting the Captains Log ,tapping the K key usually gets it but the game freezes when I do it ,Got on to Ubisoft tec Dept and was advised to download the latest Driver . Did that and it still does it .Checked JSGME,s snapshot of the files and found= data\cfg\savedGame\00000001\CaptainLog.ini. NEW . The Mods enabled were ;- Sobers Lights, Tangors wooden lifeboats and NDB,NDH , which I don,t think were working. I,ve uninstalled and re installed the game but still no luck. It is possible I suppose to play the game without the Captains Log which I,ve been doing but I thought there could be a solution to the problem . H
