IMO, he made the role of his life in 'The Night of the Generals'. His impersonation of the sadistic general is outstanding. Also had a heart touching performance in 'Goodbye Mr. Chips' (the 1969 version).
One of my favorite actors, capable to play any kind of role with brilliance. He will be missed by many. R.I.P. |
