Other question i have is: i am aware that the parents were dining in a near-by restaurant at the time of the kidnapping. The child was, what, 4, 5 years old? Did she have a babysitter? Someone to mind the child whilst unattended? Negligence on the parents' behalf?
I'm not aware of the exact details of the night of the kidnap, but if there WASN'T a minder or sitter present, then i'm sorry but that is pretty poor.
Even though the restaurant wasn't far, it is asking for trouble.

Police investigating the disappearance of Madeleine McCann say their review of the case suggests it was a premeditated abduction.
