![]() I was allready prepared to face harsh complaints about sustained bad weather using SH5 and DynEnv. Some joker has even tagged DynEnv's home thread with a "fog" tag ( ![]() I has nonetheless allready been noted that, unlike foggy and overcast weather, rain and thunderstom occurrences are a bit too low... As for wave height, in game they are strictly connected with win speeds, and wind speed is limited to 15 m/s. A workaround to this problem could be increasing wave height settings, unrespective of their relative wind spees. We could for instance set 15 mps wind waves to be as high as one would expect from a 30 mps wind gale, and we could ask our talented UI modders to multiply the wind speed reported in game by two. Nonetheless, I am not sure how ship physics would react to those huge waves ![]() Me too. Pity that they are not very common. For more variation, I think I could easily add new lightning textures and thunder sound effects to DynEnv, but increasing thunderstorm occurrence is unfortunately not as easy... |
