Nitpicking editing mode : Was the crate on the forecastle, or directly the wheelhouse amidship?
And merchant seamen still aren't allowed ashore in Saudi Arabia, AFAIK. Probably more now than ever before... But I can't understand why your father wasn't informed of that beforehand by the ship's officers. |
