While I am playing SH5 right now, it is only because SH3 won't run on my system that I gave it up.
There are things to enjoy in each version. SH3 has some mighty mods that give such ambience that the game enjoyment is multiplied x 10. Mods are there for SH5 too, but you only have one type of boat. I loved the little Type II canoe boats.
