Draw distance or LOD broblem ? Any way to mod for better?

 2=  3=  AI will see ships very far away but i can't see **** until way too close. Looks like game won't draw ships far enough and AI is broken. Any way to mod draw distance ? so i can see just far as AI GREAT sim but this makes me sad
